God Can Save Anybody

Christians aren’t perfect people pretending we have life figured out.

We’re people who know what it feels like to be empty.

To make mistakes we regret.

To carry shame quietly.

To search for peace in places that could never give it.

To smile on the outside while hurting on the inside.

We know what it’s like to need grace.

To need mercy.

To need a fresh start we couldn’t earn for ourselves.

So no, we’re not standing here saying we’re better than anyone.

We’re standing here saying we were rescued.

We’re not pointing to our goodness.

We’re pointing to God’s goodness.

We’re not talking about perfection.

We’re talking about forgiveness.

We’re not saying we never fell.

We’re saying He picked us back up.

Christianity was never about a bunch of flawless people judging the broken.

It’s a bunch of broken people telling other broken people where healing can be found.

Because if He could save us…

He can save anybody.

When The Flesh Wins

Let’s talk about the part of Christianity most people won’t…

What happens when you fail?

When the flesh wins.

When you fall back into something you thought God already delivered you from.

Those moments.

I love Jesus. I really do.

I seek Him. I pray. I open His Word. I want my life to reflect Him. But if you follow my content, I want you to understand something about me…

I’m not perfect.

There are days I struggle.

Days where my flesh gets the better of me.

Days where I walk away from a moment thinking,

“Lord… I should have handled that differently.”

And I’ll be honest…

There are days my flesh wins battles I wish it didn’t. And in those moments the enemy loves to whisper, “See? You’re not who you say you are.”

But here’s something I’ve learned through my failures… Those moments are exactly what the gospel is about.

The gospel was never for people who never fall. It’s for people who fall… and realize they desperately need a Savior. It’s for the person who runs back to God after messing up and says…

“Lord, without Your mercy I have nothing.”

My failures don’t make me run from Christ.

They make me run to Him. Because every time I fall short, I’m reminded of something powerful…

I was never saved because of my perfection. I was saved because of His grace. So if you follow my page thinking I’ve got it all figured out…

I don’t.

I’m just a flawed human being who loves Jesus and keeps getting back up, running to the cross.

Lord Help Me..

There are days when strength runs out… and all you can do is whisper, “Lord, help me.”

And that whisper is enough.

God isn’t asking for perfection,

He’s asking for surrender.

Let Him be strong where you can’t.

God Gets It

God gets it. He really does. He knows we aren’t perfect. From the very beginning, He understood that we would stumble, that our strength would fail, that our hearts would wander. And instead of leaving us to our own brokenness, He built the bridge back to Himself.

That bridge has a name: Jesus.

Through Him, every gap is covered, every failure redeemed, every distance crossed. God didn’t just look down at our weakness and shake His head. He stepped into it. He carried it. He bore it. And in doing so, He made a way where there was no way.

He’s not going to throw that all away. The cross was not temporary. His love is not fragile. Grace isn’t something He dangles like a prize for the perfect. It is a gift, steady and unshaken, because it rests on His character, not ours.

When you fall short, and you will, remember this: God isn’t surprised. He knows. And still He calls you His own. Still He welcomes you. Still He offers mercy that is new every morning.

So stop being afraid that one mistake will undo it all. The bridge still stands. The blood still speaks. The love of God still reaches farther than your flaws.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8)

God gets it. And He’s not letting go of you

Are You Being Made Perfect?

though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.
And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation
to all who obey Him,
Hebrews 5:8-9

There is a positive aspect to suffering. We all endure suffering to some degree, but the good news is that through it we can become like Jesus. Are you willing to pay whatever price is necessary in order to become like Christ? There are some things that God can build into your life only through suffering. Even Jesus, the sinless Son of God, was complete only after He had endured the suffering His Father had set before Him. Once He had suffered, He was the complete, mature, and perfect Savior through whom an entire world could find salvation.

If you become bitter over your hardships, you close some parts of your life from God. If you do this, you will never be complete. Some places in your soul can be reached only by suffering. The Spirit of God has important things to teach you, but you can only learn these lessons in the midst of your trials. King Saul was made king without ever enduring hardship, but he never developed the character or maturity to handle God's assignment. David spent years in suffering and heartache. When he finally ascended the throne, he was a man after God's own heart.

Don't resent the suffering God allows in your life. Don't make all your decisions and invest everything you have into avoiding hardship. God did not spare His own Son. How can we expect Him to spare us? Learn obedience even when it hurts!

Jesus' human life was not a script that he passively followed. It was a life that he chose freely (John 10:17,18). It was a continuous process of making the will of God the Father his own. Jesus chose to obey, even though obedience led to suffering and death. Because Jesus obeyed perfectly, even under great trial, he can help us obey, no matter how difficult obedience seems to be.

Christ was always morally perfect. By obeying, he demonstrated his perfection to us, not to God or to himself. In the Bible, perfect usually means completeness or maturity. By sharing our experience of suffering, Christ shared our human experience completely. He is now able to offer eternal salvation to those who obey him.
